Ive been wanting to ask you, what do you use to put up you hair? In the pictures it looks so awesome. Like fluffy but strong.

Hey, no prob, anytime. I have a kickin' dark red 4 piece, two mounted toms, and one floor a crash, crash ride and a ride. The set is mostly Yamaha and I also have Aquarian, Zildjian, Remo, Camber, and equipment and I prefer to use Vic Firth sticks. Mine's not nearly as impressive as yours, lol. Yeah I used to play classical in the orchestra in high school, but aside from a little stuff my dad showed my I'm all self taught. I love it though, drumming and music are my life and passion. I agree, some girls get intimidated caues rock is such a "boys club" especially punk, but the few girl musicians that are out there usually all kick ass. Who are your favorite drummers? Or biggest influences?

Yeah they really are, haha, yeah I hate when I break my cymbals, sometimes I feel like I play too hard, but I never hold back, that's just who I am, it's how I live, I do it all the way or not at all. But I end up with cymbals that looked like Animal came and took a bite out of them and my snares are falling off my drum and shit. But I guess that's the price of being a drummer, lol. Fuckin' guitarists have it easy. I think that's so lame, guys are always like "yeah there good, for a girl" that's bullshit, most girl rockers are better than a lot of guys, like Archenemy, or Lita Ford, or fuckin Joan Jett, or the Runaways, or Brody Dalle from the Distillers, they all KICK ASS. And I totally agree, Dave Grohl is the shit, he's one of my idols, especially since he's a drummer who's also a lead singer, which is what I do. Them Crooked Vultures are the SHIT! they totally rock. I also LOVE Tenacious D, they're playing at Bonnaroo this year! I haven't ever heard of Peer Gunt, but I'll look them up. My main drum idols and my favorite drummers would be John Bonham, Earl Hudson (Bad Brains), Robo (Misfits, Black Flag), Bill Ward (Black Sabbath), D.H. Peligro (DK), Matt Kelly (Dropkick Murphys), Keith Moon (The Who), George Schwindt (Flogging Molly), Scott Asheton (The Stooges), Nicko Mcbrain (Iron Maiden), Brann Dailor (Mastodon) Mikkey Dee(Motorhead), Tommy Ramone, Joey Jordison (Slipknot), Danny Carrey (Tool), Dave Mello (Op Ivy), Roger Taylor (Queen), John Dolmayan (SOAD), James Meza (Tiger Army) and Chris Summers (Turbonegro)

I never understand drummers that don't play to their best ability or thier hardest, if anything's worth doing it's worth doing all the way. I totally agree, Dave Grohl is awesome, have you seen the video of him doing stairway to heaven? He's totally wasted and FORGETS THE WORDS, it's hysterical. I checked out Peer Gunt (sorry I don't have any umlaut keys lol) & they rock! You must like Motorhead, & if you like them I bet you'll like The Evils, they're from Atlanta, Georgia, they KICK ASS http://www.myspace.com/usevils And it's true, I have a few too many drum idols, lol. But those are all my favs, some more than others, but John Bonham and Joey Jordison in particular I just don't see how they do the stuff they do, it's mind boggling. But one of my biggest drum idols is my dad, he's the drummer for Uncle Lightnin' & The Unsatisfied which are two local bands from Chattanooga. Happy Birthday by the way, hope it was fun :)

haha, yeah actually I am, as strange as that seems, I like Zeppelin more cause they're just classic, but Slipknot's one of my favorite metal bands, as well as Motorhead! I can't believe you saw them twice! JEALOUS. I was gonna see them and The Misfits when they played up in Philly but my friends pussied out cause it was "too far away" but I still got to see the Misfits twice, so I can't complain. My dad is indeed a drummer, the best one in town I think, Uncle Lightnin' is his bluegrass/americana band but The Unsatisfied are like southern, horror punk/metal they KICK ASS, Eric Scealf is one of the best lead singers out there today and The Unsatisfied is the best band to come out of the southeast in forever(and I'm not even being biased, you should check them out) My dad isn't teaching me but he helped me get started, he helped me learn "Come Together" by The Beatles and helpe me get my groove, which took longer than expected, the transition from classical to drum set was kinda difficult, but once I got my groove I was self taught and I just listen to cd's and play along or jam on my own shit.
