    LOL Agreed, chessboard would be trickier to maintain. If you do go for lines, I'm gonna insist on seeing pics. Maybe I'll steal your spikes. |-)

    That's a good idea with the shaving if needed - but you won't - you get used to cutting the lines after a while. Getting them evenly spaced is a little tricky at times. But you can always just make them a bit wider to balance out.

    You're gonna rock them IMHO :D Man, that'll be smart to see. Nice to see your hawk as a fan too in the new pics too - gonna have to let mine grow a bit more to try spikes.
