  • Street Rat

You all do realize that anarchy is a form of government right?
  • Robert

yes and no, it all depends on what form of anarchy you're talking about
  • Street Rat

Well the only form that i know of that isn't, would be individualist anarchy. Which is widely considered the worst form.
  • Robert

indiviudalist and chaos mostly, anarchy is rather fluid so it has alot of inbetween forms too.
  • az kaos

yea anarchy is a form of government but its an idividualist type society/government. its just simply a belief that everyone can be self dependent and doesnt need a central based government to help control/regulate the system
  • Street Rat

    I personally believe in anarcho-primitive, or anarcho-communism.
  • az kaos

hahaha itd be funny if there was an anarchists party on the ballot yet there was no name.. ha maybe its just my weird sense of humor getting the best of me but that would be pretty funny
  • Robert

i'd say im more of an anarcho-capitolist, only for practicality reasons.
  • Christopher Fitch

sup motherfuckers. its about fucking time someone started an anarchist group. count me in. fuck the government. . in it for life right?
  • Bonez

hell yea bro the government is nothing but bull shit we are free with or with out a fucking government nobody can fucking take that from us not even after death
  • Socke

anarchy isnt just to be against the system and to destroy it.
there must be another way of thinking. anarchy isnt to trink beer an fuck police and singing: chaos. its a hard form of selfdiziplin, because you must always handle like you want all human to handle. anarchy is freedom, peace and self-determination

These days in america home of the “peace, happy, and innocent” the vast norm of americans are selfish pigs trained by the American government to be voracious about money which seems to be my main problem with america the beautiful. Cash is a piece of paper that apparently can by “anything that makes you happy”. I just don't get it. Sex? A home? Vehicles? Put a person in prison? Is that really all you need in life? What about the happiness that comes naturally, love, friendship, a family, maybe even peace, can money by that? Therefore i detest and still deeply question how something we see everyday makes a person change from a human to a greedy stressed uniform zombie. Not to inculpate you but seriously get your heads out of you asses and know that at the end of all the stress and “needs” when you look back at your life and how fucked up it was you'll ask yourself was it really worth all the bullshit money put you through? When you see different people who have the same shit as you who took a different more optimistic path besides making money the answer to all their problems.
  • shitfacedra

yeah when we find something cool to do thats fun they ALWAYS fuck it up because we're having fun. notice everything fun is wrong in their eyes?
  • Sonic Architect

There is plenty of fun stuff to do despite the horrible situation in the US. Its just a matter if people are imaginative enough to find those fun things and if their apathy glues them down saying "there is nothing fun" and blah blah

crime is a symptom which was stated by Alt Problem though in a contradictory statement =) It is in fact getting much worse not just here in the US, but worldwide as globalization does not slow and thus the wealth gap grows and more and more are shit on and have to throw their life away. So the crime rate of violent crime though a symptom of what is happening, is no doubt because of what has been happening in the past decades.
  • shitfacedra

hmm I don't recall saying anything about crime, if you think EVERYTHING illegal is a crime then I'm guessing your point of view on life must be pretty bland and uniform.
  • Sonic Architect

shitfacedra, i know you didn't mention anything about crime but the person below you did. which is what i was addressing and even mentioned in the post =)

And I am pretty sure if you looked at any of my other posts or anything on this site, you would quickly find my view on life is not bland and uniform at all. =)

ive hated capitalism ever since i learned what it ment. the system is so corrupt, free market?fuck it. the wealthy man comes in and takes over all... America once stood for something great, a government for the people of the people by the people but now its like its for the money of the money by the money... no more bettering mankind or bettering the minorites or helping out the shitty social situation in america and the rest of the world even. corruption since the dawn of man has fucked us over time and time yet those greedy bastards dont give a shit. and crime? thats a factor of government because the goverment creates the wealth gaps that cause the poor to grow poorer and the rich to grow richer... the middle class of america is dwindelling, and greed grows while poverty follows suit as well
  • az kaos

the army is bullshit. im so glad i changed my mind about it. same with religion, just telling you how to live your life. im sick of ll that shit. it sickens me how much of a sheep some people can be, not being able to do anything without a shepard ie the govt
  • CeeCee

What I hate even more than the army is the media and the school system. Most people in America hate anyone who even LOOKS middle-eastern, regardless if they're Muslim or not. And why? Cuz they TV told 'em too. In schools, they're just molding us into hateful little war machines, ready to attack any target they decide to send us after.
  • az kaos

yea i know. all they teach us is to think down on anyone who thinks differently than us. its utter bull shit. and now even the school system and military are together, everyday at my school, theres recruiters from every branch of the military, and i always see the little sheep flocking to them like light to flies... i was in the rotc program, and reaized how much bullshit all that kind of stuff was.
  • Eric

..anarchist ever since I remember here! Fuck politics! All they do is talk shit and keep the people chained to their ways of thought just because they went to law school and wear a suit. Kill the government for true peace!
  • o.O SPIKE! XD

    sick of JUST the government?!?!

what about the schools??? such as the one im forced to attend where you have to wear khakis and a collared shirt with NO un-natural hairstyles or colors!

(this is the day i came back to school after the weekend ended with my new mohawk...)
i JUST got off the bus and the second i did one of the guards got right into my fuckin face and ear and told me to go straight to the office, and dont stop and i was like WTF.... so i went and they like flipped on me and made me wash it down in the bathroom sink............fuckin stupid cocksuckers.
  • Eric

..because the schools are under the influence and direction of the government (mostly) so if you eliminate on you automatically affect the other
  • Eric

..btw I too have probs like that at school
  • Sharkfin

Watch the movie "Burn After Reading". That gives you a true discription of the government!
  • We(A)reWinning

i belong to this group, but actually im a communist =P
just tends to attract less individualists as a whole, and individualists want something completely different than communists.
  • We(A)reWinning

individual and social anarchism imo have no place with each other. I dont have anything against individualists, i just find it too different from philosophies such as anarcho-communism.
  • We(A)reWinning

anarcho-communists and communists want the exact same thing through different means (thus the "communist" part) and anarchism to me has always been about class struggle and true democracy, both of which seem to be lost on individualists.
  • We(A)reWinning

individual freedom at the cost of democracy =P
  • We(A)reWinning

no we dont want a "security from a state". But we also hold that the state is an oppressive institution 'distant' from the people; in the sole name of the minority and the ruling class for capital and private property. If the "state" were to be in the hands of everybody; not as a way for the majority suppressing the minority, but in system of direct demoracy in the hands of the community to ensure the good of all in society; it would cease to be a state as described above.
  • We(A)reWinning

state means rule over or infers that there is leaders, which direct democracy does not have either of.
  • We(A)reWinning

Thank you for making my point on why individualists and social anarchists do not mix. You directly oppose democracy.
  • sarah ballantyne

FUCK GOVERMENT!!!!!!!!!! we dont need rules or laws!!!!!! we deserve better then these godmn frickin whatever you call those ppl in the goverment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Eric

The 'A' of Act might be the A of Anarchy.
  • sean harper

oh and here's this one i just made, jello biafra inspired me

and aye, i agree about what ye said bout the A
  • Venom

I like it. You also might think about making one with the same history of hemp, and then speak about how the oil companies bought out anyone who was developing ulterior resources that would threaten their profiteering. I'm sure you catch the drift.
  • sean harper

Question: I'm asking completely detatched, for different opinions and points of view.
In riots, why don't rioters even the odds, don guns, base ball bats, tasers, etc.
Also, mob mentality, why is it in the majority of riot and protest videos I've seen, extremely large groups of protesters will scurry away at the cite of a few police cars, that together they could easily overturn like ants overturn centipedes?
Thousands of angry passionate people against a couple hundred badly paid police? Is it guns? Those aren't that hard to get. Is it the violence? Or just the refusal to join a group effort? This i don't understand. Though I know the ideas of 'anarchism' if you will, are nearly opposite to that of military and being a soldier, why wouldn't the effort of unity against the 'fash' be worth it? I remember a french guy saying something like "for now we need it to win this battle but after the war's over we'll need to get rid of it" about the anarchist flag.
I dunno maybe I'm sleep deprived and not thinking straight, but does this make sense to any of you?
Where's the group effort? Every once and awhile I'll see a guy being hauled off by police like its a fucking football game, and the "rioters" just watch and yell pointless bollux, police aren't paid to listen to 'criminals', they're paid to haul them away, so why do people just say "facist facist facist pig wah', are they trying to hurt there feelings? Why not collectively bum rush the cops and rip the captive back?

Please, answer this someone(s), and I mean this in a simple way, I'm not looking for anyone starting an argument, this is just something I don't understand
Thanks for whoever read my ranting^
  • Venom

Ah, yes, the eternal question, eh? I could go on about this for days, but alas, I don't have much time to answer, so I'll keep it short. It is my belief that it is in fact the mob mentality that drives the mob as well as destroys it. It is because the people are not ready for what is actually coming (meaning, they thought they wanted to be in a mob, but didn't realize the consequences), they don't know what else to do because they lack leadership now that they are a dumb mob, and the fact that they all stand around thinking someone else should do something, and they won't move until someone else does. It could be just one, or any combination, of these. These are just some basics, which is all i can go into right now. Sociology and psychology have been studying this for a long, long time. In psychology there are terms for some of this: The Bystander Effect causes people in groups to think "Someone else should do something," or "Maybe I'll help if others do." Its this principal that you see in effect when someone is begging for help, and people just keep walking, and it is why we are taught to single people out to ask for help in a crowded place. You can also see it in effect at many concerts, where when one person starts to mosh or skank, others join in. Often you can even see people look around to see if anyone else is doing it before they join in. Fucking pathetic if you ask me. Something else that social psychology has found is called Diffusion of Responsibility. This accounts for people in groups not considering themselves responsible for things that happen while in said group. Such as when a woman gets gang raped, and none of the individuals responsible feels guilt because they were in a group. Most of these theories were founded after the collapse of the Nazi regime, as many experiments were conducted to explain why and how the Nazi soldiers/guards were capable of doing the things they did to innocent people. Most blamed it on just following orders (Bystander Effect), and didn't feel guilt because there were others doing it (Diffusion of Responsibility). I would love to rant and rave on about this, but I believe I've typed enough. Hopefully this can start you down your path of reasoning and logic about this subject. A tip I can give you: I would definitely have verbal debates (NOT arguments) about this and other topics, both with yourself and other people, as this helps greatly to lead you to a sound state of thought. It will help you question your beliefs, and strengthen them. Mary thinking!
  • sean harper

Thank you for that good sir, I seen a book on mob mentality last week at a thrift store, I shoulda got it
Your answer makes quite a bit o' sense, I appreciate the answer
