I'm unhappily suprised..

I was standing at Fanshawe Collage today (one of the collages in my city, obviously) waiting for the bus to take me home and I couldn't help but notice how many bloody people walked in and out of the building or were standing with me waiting, that were holding on to cases of beer. Okay, it's a Saturday night and sure you want to go do something fun but seriously, at least 8 out of 10 people had beer in there hands. and to my horror 2 of the people sitting at the back of the bus with me actually pulled some out and started drinking them. Like wtf!? Are you seriously that desprate!? I'm planning on going to this collage next year, maybe meeting some new people and making some friends and yet almost every single group of people are sitting there with booze in there hands! These are not that kind of people I want to meet. Like there HAS to be at least one edge person in my damn city.

yeah, i was on a train once and this group of four were continuing to drink on the train, they brought a a bunch in a backpack. very loud and obnoxious too :(

maybe u could be the one to show others a different way? not like a messiah or whatever, but open people's eyes to it. ya never know...

I'm over 30 and I still only know a handful of people who can plan a weekend get together without any alcohol involved. You will find some like-minded people when you get there and they will keep you sane :-)
