I'm guessing but I might be the oldest headbanger here :) old enough to have seen most good and a few bad metal bands starting out , who can forget the influx of NWOBHM in the early eighties , now to kick things off what was the first metal album you ever paid for with your own hard earned cash ? mine was lonesome crow by the scorpions , my first heavy album I stole was by earth ( later known as black sabbath )

emo music bad, I can't stand it, but it just isn't the music i can't stand. It's those fucking windmill arm throwing wannabe moshers, but to afaid to get hit bastards. I have seen moshers watch these kids in disgust. They want to go over and drop them, but they are just so amazed how fuckin ridiculous they look, even though moshing can be a little ridiculous, though i luv it, well i am done ranting on emos

Ja pure torture. But that is funny, und I as well have my own prefrences like everything from Dream Theater to Dropkick Murphys or The Clash. Und I agree the Pantera is the greatest, its just that some bands, I'd prefer not to mention, are just...what's the word...chaotically monotonous( confusing und headache producing)only depends. But hell, what is'nt anymore...though there are exceptions. =P

maroon 5. wow. i see what you mean though. most of my friends listen to alot of metal, and i don't listen to much, and most of what i do listen to is nu-metal. and than they automatically assume i ONLY listen to nu-metal and yeah...it gets annoying.

Haha! and indeed, the movie left out many important things leaving the film somewhat..epmpty. It sucked even more because when I went to see it, some of the girls there were so very annoying! Shreaking, hyperventilating in my ear! ugh......but for me I love music no matter what and I cant see why others just won't leave other people alone with out judging oneanother just because you listen to this genre and this genre or this genre etc. Its sad. Im an international music lover...I become lost in its wonders.
