Thanks Dan :) So the beads or balls or whatever you choose to put on them,that's the part that has the bar and then that screws into what's in your skin? I was gonna get one on my butterfly tattoo on my arm. The guy I was talking to didn't seem very knowledgeable about them. They looked super cool though and I don't really have commitment issues lol so no worries about the permanent anchor thing.

Dermals are a bit different than a piercing Sarah.....they are actually small anchors that are placed under the skin and then the body grows around and thru the hole in them under the skin thus anchoring them to the body. If you ever want them removed, they have to be surgically cut out and can leave scars. They have a threaded hole that sticks out of the skin, which you can thread on different balls, rings, and such. They are commonly used for a corset on the back or on the side of a leg, but can also be used for venom bites on the neck or anywhere for that matter. They are quite neat, but should be considered relatively permanent. :-)

I was in a shop the other day checking out the dermals I think that's how its spelled Idk but definitely wanting to add one or more to sparkle up my tatts lol the guy said they are like implants but you can change out the jewelry :) sounds cool! Anyone know much about em?

I've been looking into getting into the body modification business for a while, unfortunately most of the surrounding parlors are hard for me to get to and It'd be hard for me to get back and fourth to these shops if I could land an apprenticeship. Considering it's a lengthy business before you can actually become a professional,i have many concerns about getting started since my time will now be split taking care of another human being .Did anyone else have these sort of issues getting started? and any advice that might help get the ball rolling, or get ahead of the curve?

i have a split tounge an thinkin of piercing the side of each split...any thoughts or ideas on to dos or not to dos...been thinkin of some bad assed door knockers on each tounge

we can add an industrial (used to be two crossed, still planning on bringing them back) a surface traigus, and a single point piercing in my chest.
