Branding

Ive just been and booked my first brand. Im getting it done just after christmas. Was just wondering if anyone else had any brands or body modification other than tattoos

the attachted picture is what im getting branded. on the back of my neck

So how did this brand go for you? Can you comment on the experience for us that have not done it yet? Anyone out there have any comments on branding? Thanks!

Well firstly the pain was a lot less than that of a tattoo, i barely felt it while i was having it done, got it done with a soldiering iron. however after 3-4 days it began to itch like crazy and became full of puss and goo. which last for about 2-3 weeks, Hurt like hell while it was healing, every time i moved it cracked the scabs and made it leek puss. after about a month though it had almost completely healed, but was still red raw for a few months. i had to make sure i cleaned it several times a day to stop it getting infected.
