Hey people, although im straight (if u dont have any problem) mainly because i enjoy Bruce LaBruce's movies, and have lots of friends in the Homocore movement and im interested about the conversations in here. :)
as far as who was left out of the alpabet soup(which you should of called me out on forgetting the t) we were founded 13 yrs ago as a subset of the wymca, believe me the list started with as much as they could get away with without pissing off too many donors. each day and every year we address the lettering based on who attends. its organic, so it changes. also our experience with adding the second q, meaning queer is if donors dont like a word they stop donating. it sucks. but for my own sake can folks define asexual(i deal with plants its a method for reproduction) and pansexual. they've not come up in our group yet so id like to bring it up to the board, maybe some of young folks have these feelings but arent empowered to bring it up. that would need to change

Ducky, every generation of young trans people goes through a period of militancy, generally accompanied by an increase in 'hawks. Right now we're picking fights again so you can expect a lot of temporo-parietal scalps to start seeing daylight.
figured i should join you all, esp. proudly serve on the bod of a youth organization, called youth pride inc. we are one of two queer youth orgs, the other being sequeal in providence meeting the needs of glbtqqa( gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer, question, allies our founding mother didnt want to leave anyone out lol) youth and their families. ive been with theorg for over ten yrs now and have noticed two things an increase in trans youth inour programming, and an increase in hawks. wierd.
