I'm from Albany originally. Fifth generation born in Oregon and third in the same hospital (in Corvallis). I've lived all over the place though cause my dad's in the army. No matter how long it's been each time I'm away from here, I am always so happy to come home to "God's Country".

No matter where you live there are boring and sucky places. But there are plenty of awesome fun places to go and be all across this country. So if you don't like it or can't stand it, move. Seriously. It may take a few months to save up and all that but in this country we have no excuse. There are so many climates and different terrain. Get out there and see where you fit.

And please don't forget that no matter how cool a place is: it will suck if there aren't good people there. It's the people that make It home.

There's so many people here saying "Oregon is LAME/BORING".... Thats good, tell all your friends that cuz we don't want you here anyway. Oregon is the best state in the USA (coming from a londoner), so best keep it unspoilt.

I rather enjoy Oregon... Its My home And Where My heart Is... BUT Oh man is it fun to just get up and go adventure new places!!

My home is Oregon, but I'm in Reno, NV for college. I don't feel right anywhere but Keizer. Nothing like that crazy recycling, locally-owned business-y state.

Oregon is so boring. i live and have lived in Corvallis my WHOLE life, i know this town like the back of my hand. every weekend all my friends and i get together, drink some rum or beer, smoke some weed and cigarettes then go to a punk show. that's all there is to do here! its a pretty free town, people just do as they please. but there is no way i can ever walk through a store with out being followed here! it sucks.

lol wow only 13 of us from oregon....kinda sad. i live in almost the dead center of the state.
