Whoa! That's heavy! I weighed my cat recently (with the aid of Wii Fit balance board =) ) and she came out at 6 lbs.

He looks big though and being male too will add pounds. I love his stare below.

(Curious, 'goober' comes from an old Scottish phrase 'to goob', but I had no knowledge of either word - until now, and I'm Scottish =) ).

Yeah! Our cat went missing once for a week and then came back, thin and starved - we think she must have got locked in somebodies hut by accident. She likes to sleep in our garage rafters >.>

We'd looked for her and asked the neighbours, but in the end, she managed to get home, thankfully. I'm glad you found your cat after so long away.
