How far can you trace your heritage back?

Most Irish-Americans today have lost their identity, and the only thing they know of their Irish heritage, is that their family is Irish, If you do know or not, Tell me how far back can you trace your family to Ireland.

I can trace my family all the way back to when they were mercenaries from Whales that moved to Ireland, how about y'all

as far as i've got is meh great great grandparents where from ireland and england, supposedly meh irish grandma ond meh english grandpa aloped here, tats on meh mah's mah's mah's side though, meh mah's mah's dah's side is supposedly irish aswell, dinna know much aboot tat though, besides he was supposedly really mouthy and really friendly, dinna know bout meh dah's side though, besides german, cajun ond a few other lil' ting's

Well....I have traced my heritage back as far as the mayflower on my mums side. Where he got to america and married a pure irish. then my dads side both his grandparents are 100% irish and then there it goes all the way down and now i am 75% irish or more.
