Worker here. I work at an organic baby store. Kind of interesting to see how some of the customers interact with me.... cause I know damn well some of the richies that come in here would be a staring fool out in town. The owner is a dear friend and totally supportive of me and how I want to look. She says that if a customer has a problem with me based on apperance then they can bite it. I'm very good at what I do and know a lot about what we sell. I currently have a purple mohawk with blonde sides, my septum pirced, and a few tattoos. I have it good.

i have a huge problem getting a job in alabama with my cut & color...i'm a bartender, but it seems only the gay bars would be willing to hire me....any ideas people?

i work at a Coles Supermarket in Brisbane (AUSTRALIA)

i mostly work nights stockin shelves but am there for 2hrs while the store is open ^_^. when im doin a day shidt they make me have my hair down but its been alright coz i had (i just put the clipper through the sides a few mins ago LOL!!) abit of hair (just over 1") on the sides n my hawk' is only about 6" long :P

the worst part is takin out my piercings when im workin in the fridge.. they say its for "food safety reasons".. i dont handle anything but SEALED PACKAGES!! its sooo fuckin st00pid! so yeah my ears n lips hate me a couple times a week :P

gonna start makin myown stretchers soon when i get my wood lathe sooo wish me luck! :)

Working with a hat has it's perks i just got the hawk back after working for about 4 months apperently i can dye it but i would have to talk to the head boss and i don't like him as is so i don't think color isn't in my near future but I'll have to keep at is i guess and hopefully hot rags(bad ass store) will get back for me on the job application i sent in

I got the greatest job in the world, I work in a fucking barbershop. I can trust my buds a work to not fuck up my hair, and I get all the free hair cuttin I want for free!!

I'm self-employed, so I have little trouble with the mohawk. I play at weddings and corporate functions and wear a trilby hat if need be.

Sooo, mohawk world.

An update:
Target is a company that has a good environment (especially 3rd shift) and are friendly towards visible tattoos, piercings, and even mohawks.
Even here in Oklahoma.

I work as an apprentice electrician in a factory, which basically means i work, learn and earn money with a one day release at college. I went to my interview with red hair and i was myself. I got the job through my qualifications and proving myself to them, so they saw past the hair cut. We all have a laugh about my hair "Have you had a fight with a grass cutter?" Just goes to show some employers will see you for you potential and not for your appearance.
