Serious Question.

I came up with this like at 5 a.m. while waking up.

Do people in PETA drink milk and eat eggs and butter? If they do wouldn't it be a contradiction to what they fight against? Cause cows and chickens aren't treated the best when they are being used for milk and eggs etc.

PETA in itself is a contradiction... to claim they don't eat anything that dies is false. They don't lament eating a salad. Why? because it doesn't scream when you kill it? it was once a living organism too. To defy the animal instincts that keep us alive is absurd. They need to wake up and see that everyday animals and people prey on each other to survive and to defy that is to not exist. As for your question on eggs and butter, I'm not a hundred percent sure about that but if they do then that feeds my argument as well. I'm sorry but re-naming a fish a "sea kitten" is not going to stop me from eating it. I'd just take more pleasure in frying the "sea kitten". That is all.

Not all members of peta are vegan or vegetarians. Some of my friends are members and still eat meats. They don't think all animals should be free to roam where ever, they just think the mistreated animals need help. So not all of them are crazy, either. haha.

And all my vegan friends hate peta.

PETA is fake shit anyways. For real. I do believe in animal rights, but PETA takes it too far. They'd rather see an animal dead than in captivity. I'm from 8 generation of circus folk. (NOT CARNIES) They would give my dad shit all the time because he was an elephant trainer, and yes some people do miss treat elephants, but my dad would beat a guys ass for trying to touch one at the gas station one time, he threw him across the parking lot, you just can't run up to them it spooks them out. and animals elephants in particular live 20 in the wild 40-60 years in a zoo and can live from 60-almost 80 if they are taken care of properly in the circus. because they get exercise, and proper nutrion. and PETA as you get higher in the system they would rather just take animals out completely. If you look up interviews alot of people leave PETA when they get higher into the program or whatever because they find out how fake it is.

Sorry I kinda hopped on this late but I spent 2 months doing a research project for an animal rights presentation in my English class a couple years ago and everyone I talked to that was vegan or truly believed in animal rights hates PETAs guts. My whole project was just showing the conditions that animals are kept in. And people wonder how things like the Swine Flu(which really isn't that bad) come to be and it just amazes me how little people think about what happens to the foods they eat or what gets put into them. I'm not like super vegan or anything but I try to buy locally at the farmer's market and limit my intake of junk food.
