There are plenty of fresh ideas, but the current stuff is more profitable.
I mean, a simple example is to look at the music industry.
Really good New punk and metal bands hardly get looked at because it's more profitable to get an Indie band or create another mass produced pop band with pretty faces and big boobs.
The entire world runs like this. It's pathetic, but no-body seems to see it.
Am I the enlighted, or a madman?

Maybe I'm cynical but my world view is this: except for act of god, when bad stuff happens it's because somebody's making money.

So why not just get rid of the money?

Glad someone else is concerned about the future.
This conformity thing scares me to death. We are individuals, and should be treated as such, and with respect.
I wear my 'hawk as much as a philosophical statement as a fashion statement. I don't want to think or look like anyone else. Guess I'm 'my own man'.
Humanity never moves forward without creative and different thought.... and I'm scared we're moving backwards rather than forward.

Just wondering if others are concerned about the conformity and lack of fresh ideas that seem to exist globally. Does anyone think or care where humanity is heading?
