Can't seem to get it right...help!

Any tips/tricks how to get it to look more Deathawk and less..err...fluff I guess you could call it?(recent pic in 4th album in my profile) I used to have a couple of Deathrock-pals in another town, and already back then I was sooo jealous of their hawks...help!!!

i use a rat comb too
i think the secret is to tease it fast
and tease little sections of hair.
some of my friends used to start in the back

and i never tried a steel comb cuz my hair is too damaged

seems I'm starting to get the hang of it now, bit by bit. Still not totally as I would like it to be, but it's getting better. Will post a new pic soon
