Avengers Movie tie in thingy: Epic or Epic Fail?

What are your thoughts on all the new comic book movies leading up to (eventually) the Avengers movie? Is it really cool, or is it a rip off?

Personally, I ALREADY hate it because I don't believe in butchering good, no no, GREAT comic books and comic book heros so they can make money apealling to people who, if it was suppost to apeal to them, they would have bought the comics.

the closer we get to the avengers movie the more scared i get. so far, for the most part, these marvel movies have been good. with the exception of wolverine. a movie i did enjoy but am still disapointed in. iron man has been great. i think they've done a bomb job with it. the incredible hulk had it's issues but overall i liked it. thor was fun. i love the casting in that movie. but i'm getting nervous. i have a feeling the avengers movie isn't going to be all it could be. i'm sure i'll love it no matter what, but i'll be sad looking back at it. i'm just loosing my faith in this. i hope, i'm wrong and it's as epic as it should be, but i'm starting to doubt.
