no fucking way. I let some cunt touch my hair once and she smashed it. in the back. i fucking flipped out on the bitch and ended up getting suspended for three days.
I wish i got the question more. Not because i wan't attention, but because so many people just touch it. I agree that its my body and space, and just because its not normal doesn't mean you can touch it without permission. Just like im not going to fondle your belly button piercing. Know what i mean?
The other week me and a friend were chillin' in town, and some 30 something woman (drunk) came staggering up to us and tried to grab my mates hawk! he just goes 'FUCK OFF'
and she said 'well you shouldn't have your hair like that then!'
I mean, its one thing shouting shit at you, but fucking coming up without consent and just touching someone?
She was a prick.
Take it easy x

it does get fucking annoying i live in southampton in England and when i walk through a shopping centre 90% of people stare and touch my hair it is fucking annoying
i had one girl yell acroos the parking lot one day "oh my god! your hair is amazing!" a minute later or so when i got in the store, she walked up to me and asked if she could touch it. i said yes and she reached out with both hands and stroked it from base to tip. it was a strange feeling having someone else do that. her mother just laughed and said" hope it doesnt rain". other than that one girl people just gawk and talk like i cant hear them when im two feet from them. i love when kids see it and they start asking questions. i find it humorus.

I get the question constantly. I usually let them do it. No one has ever flattened it or messed it up. They usually just pat on the tips. I've gotten used to it. I figure if you're going to have a green mohawk, it's only natural that people are going to ask questions, stupid or otherwise.
once more then 2 people are touching my hair at the same time I start to not like it. Its a bit strange standing in the middle of a group of people who are petting you and all going oooo yeeeeeeah.
As for people saying stupid things I am really used to that. I was the nanny ofr 2 year old triplets and a 6 year old for a long time and people always thought they were all my children. They see a girl with crazy hair and 4 children on her own, they will stop they will ask dumb questions. Are they all yours? are they natural. arnt you a bit young? Is it hard to get your hair like that and that color... Or people just gawked. Honestly I wont complain about all of this strange attention. You meet people, I liked seeing people's reactions. Most of the time they have no idea how they look. Some people have really funny looks on their faces. You just practice polite conversation and you can be on your way soon enough without having to start anything. Its more peaceful.
