Mohawks Rock

Alright, so I'm sure most of you are aware that it can be notoriously difficult to hunt down new deathrock bands to listen to; so here's a place to talk about all of the deathrock and deathrock influenced bands you like. Hopefully, we will be able to compile a fairly decent list of deathrock bands through some combined effort.

First, however, there are a few rules to take note of:

  1. Please no band bashing. This discussion exists to help people find some new listening material, not to determine whose bands are the, "best."
  2. Avoid arguments over genres. A number of the bands brought up here may not be specifically deathrock, but may have a very strong and obvious influence from the deathrock genre (contemporary bands will often have this feature) Also, bear in mind that the lines between dethrock, goth rock, and horrorpunk can be blurred at times. If you do see a band someone has posted that you feel is obviously not deathrock then feel free to mention it; just please avoid nit-picking.

Well, that's all I think you should know, now go ahead and list away.

not trying to nit-pick but bauhaus is goth.

Thanks for your list, Paradox! This is what I found important:

All gone Dead
Bleak Track
Bloody Dead and Sexy
Cinema Strange
Endless (http://www.myspace.com/endlessparadoxxx)
Fear Cult
Frank the Baptist (post punk and deathrock)
The Last Days of Jesus
Naughty Zombies
Phantom Bertha (Russian)
Pins and Needles
Rozz Williams
The Sixth Chamber
Sociophobia (Ukrainian electro death rock, http://www.last.fm/music/SOCIOPHOBIA)
Sopor Aeternus (very dark gothic, but give it a try!)
Tragic Black (of course)
The Vanishing
Violet Stigmata
Wailing Wall

These web radios are a good match for deathrockers:
Cathedral 13: http://cathedral13.com/
Radio Ghoul School: http://radioghoulschool.com/
(It says it's offline, but the link http://www.radioghoulschool.com:8002 is working.)

13 Bats don't exist anymore, they've changed their name to Bat Nouveau for legal purposes.  There's a Chilean Psychobilly band named 13 Bats.
