Who else collects vinyl besides me?

My record collection is amazing. I have a big mix of classic rock and some classic punk.. 2 misfit records, 4 led zeppelin records, 3 who records, 1 foreigner, 1 van halen, 4 monkees records, beach boys, 3 bob seger, brain salad surgery by emerson lake and palmer, a weird one that is by a german techno band record named rubycon,, 3 jimi Hendrix records, ANd probably quite a few more that im forgetting but I have a little over 50 records! So what does your collection(s) consist of? :D

Thank you so much for the invite. Although I've not had any vinyl since, I believe 1996, not certain though? Practically all my tunes are in MP3 or FLAC format. It's probably due to listening to tons of Goa & Psytrance, which plenty is available in digital download. I am having currently a "The Birthday Massacre" phase, track "Blue" in particular, ha! Anyhow, if you or someone else comes up with a relevant question to contribute the group, I would gladly share.

I'm just kind of old school & vinyl is like a time machine, dad got me the record player for Xmas & I use it everyday. I just wanna preserve history & enjoy it. I've always said I don't belong in this time period lol

That's great of your Dad and also that you're enjoying the turntable! I have a slight off topic in mind, under my image taken 1987, with a British flag in the background? The best turntable I had at the time, cause I had no income and was in H.S.. I would used a Portable Fisher-Price turntable (the kids toy version!) to listen to my Crass, Subhumans, Crucifuks, D.K. what ever other vinyl I had.

Oh yeah, crappy sound (single tiny speaker!), but at its best at the time!

Well if it worked no big deal lol. I have a record player that also does cassette tapes and CDs. I can even record from record onto cd. So it's made to look old but it's very new.

I'm just amazed at how much digital has cut parts out of the music. Vinyl sounds best to me
