What to use while growing out you'r hair?

Just get the sides cut to a #1 and leave the Hawk you have now at 1". In a month, the Hawk should be about 1/2" taller, so get the sides shaved to a #1 again then, and keep doing that till you have a 3" Hawk. Then you can shave the sides if you desire.
