What guard do you use?

So far I've been using a 4 guard when I buzz my sides, but I've been wondering how a 3 would look, and what you ladies use. (I don't want to bic it, my skull is ugly, haha)

I don't use a guard. It's still not like down to the ,it's like a guys stubble haha.

i have never used a 4, i liked using a 2 the best. i think you should try that out, take a bigger jump than going down one size ya know? a 3 was always a "ahh im trying to grow it out but get annoyed when the sides touch my ears" kinda gaurd for me.

yeah I'm getting tired of feeling like I need to trim it up every week... I think I'd rather it be too short for a bit than keep being to fuzzy

when i first got mine cut the lady used a 4. then it grew out, and i didn't feel like paying for it again so i have my husband get the parts i can't reach. we only had one gaurd at the house and it is a 1/8" gaurd so thats what i use now. it's pretty short you can see skin through it, i have been thinking about taking the side all the way to the skin, just afraid i would have a crazy tan line.

Thanks everyone! I think I'm gonna use a 2 and if it still seems too fuzzy going down to 1/8. It grows back so quick it's not too big a deal I know, lol. I'm just picky.
