Cunt D gig at the loft, w/some local bands, good night, they managed to piss off every kid in the venue :)
i enjoy this topic so i shall resurrect it:

last night i saw Planet Samshers.
openning was:
the expos 1st
Flatfoot 56 2nd
The Brains 3rd

all where great bands, was a really fun show.

have tickets to leather face, getting tickets to screeching weasel's in march i think. and the spcials in April.
ya flatfoot was amazing, i yelled at the lead singer during there sound check and he came over and he said hi to me and a buddy.it was there first time ever in toronto and i he asked if we lived here, we said fuck ya, and we told him to have a good set and hes like "go tear shit up out there guys" .
so we started the mosh pit before they even started playing lol.

ya and the brains the phychobilly, they were a TON of fun to listen to, they started off slow, but then people started crowd surfing and stage diving(no security, was the first time i saw it at that particular venue) it got more intense. they for sure feasted off the energy of the crowd.

the gallows and creepshow should both be great shows, i dont know about AFI nowadays, maybe for there older shit, but there may be quite a few of the 'newer fans' there.
the flatliners put on an amazing show also, i actually have a friend that used to stock them. there from my city and she knew them personally and would *literally* follow them everywhere back when they only had one or two demos out haha.
The last one I went to was anti flag,
with Aiden, and the cancer bats. And two local bands. The hub city stompers - amazing ska band. And I forgot what the other band was called.
I love them :)
JUST got back from seeing leather face.

the lineup was:
-??(i don't remember the name)--they were alright, the vocal sounds though sucked(due to the venue not the guy) they played for maby 30 minutes and was a fun time.
-???(cant remember again, i think it was the sheltics, but i don't remember for the life of me, shows how much i paid attention right?)--was actually a fun listen, once again the venues vocals sucked ass but the guy overcame them and put on a great show, i really wish i could remember there name
-sinkin'ship- was great fun to listen to them, they got the crowd moving and the front lady was so powerful and energetic. she would run into the crowed and so on adn so forth. great part would be the guitarist coming into the middle of the crowed for a solo.
-yesterdays ring- was a great set. really energetic and had a lot of hearet in it. the front man is so genuine and fun when hes on stage, however he seemed to not care once the set was over. or whenever he wasn't on for that case. he stayed at the bar well the band set up, got up on stage sang, and WELL the finishing touches were being put onto the last song he just left to leave the band to pack up and finish the song. it was fun though
-leatherface- GREAT. got the crowed moving so well and franki didn't have to say anything and the crowed exploded when he walked up to the mic. the whole set was amazing, just song after song after song. no bullshit in between. after finishing, we were able to get them out again for an encore. they played another 3 songs. then they left agian and people stole the mics and we all started chanting and they came out for another 2 songs. they left again and we stole the mics again and they came out one last time for one last song.

none the less i missed the last train and took me like 2 hours to get home
Zero Youth Records outta Missouri....They did a gig with thier crew of Brutally Frank & Queen City Saints... Check em out, you should find em on Myspace or thier own website via google!
