Mohawks Rock

Don't get me wrong i love my crazy pink hawk and wouldn't change it for the world but there are some things i really hate about having it. I'm lucky in the fact that were i live having piercings or crazy hair is somewhat common. But i hate having to awnswer retarded questions all the time and getting stared at mostly by the really young or the really old. I hate that to go out at all in the winter i have to wear a hat because my heads gets so cold. I also hate the up keep. I have 13 piercings and 3 tattoos yet i have to spend more time on my hair then i ever had to with anything else. I shave it every 2 weeks and have to touch up the dye once a month. It's all very worth it to have my hawk and like i said i wouldn't change it for anything. I would love to hear what others have to say about what they hate about having their hawk.

AMEN.

I like only having a third of the amount of hair I used to. Most people would kill to have thick and curly hair, and I would kill to not have it. Haha.

I just hate the parts where I cut into it a while ago, cause I shave by touch. I don't use mirrors anymore.
How long did that take to master???
only thing i hate is that its too skinny, always really gapppy. but ive got some thickening stripes on either side of my hawk now, so soon it will be good haha.

i also ahte how i cant color it(but thats more work, not so much my hawk)
I just don't like basic maintenance. Honestly, I let it go for a really long time usually, and I still hate having to put work into it. When I had long hair I put it up in a messy bun and it stayed that way all the time, but with a mohawk it becomes a battle to put it up quickly, and make it look awesome, and then not destroy it on the roof of my car. People I can deal with, so long as they don't touch, but I admit that it does occasionally bother me because it tends to inhibit normal conversations/social interaction.
Not having it up enough, and it being to thin at the bottom
I desperately needed a sides-shave last week, and the only person available accidentally shaved a huge chunk off the back, so now I can't put it up for months. Argh.
what i don't like is actually putting it up. i love having my hair up, but it takes me soo long and i'm so picky and it has to be absolutely right.... and my arms start hurting from having them over my head for so long. and i start to get frustrated and then i wanna kick things ahhhh!

i wish it could just stay up forever. so i'd never have to put it up again. lol
hell yeah i second that! but i have to have it down for work.. but if it could stay up forever i'd quit and get a new job lol
I know how you feel; I love having it up but it takes an average of about 50 minutes to get mine up. I actually just put mine up and it took me about 1.5 hours because I was trying out a new method. And I understand the frustration; do you ever find yourself just yelling at the mirror because your hair isn't cooperating? I do, lol. It also doesn't help that I am just about the biggest perfectionist that was ever born (or at least it feels like that when I'm doing my hair.) If I see a single gap or a patch of hair that looks crooked I make it my life goal to fix it; even if it takes me an extra 20 minutes to do :S
Dude! :| Sorry to hear man - though I know exactly how you feel! Gets frustrating when it gets cut too much.
Ah, well, that's true - and then the beanie can be banished by the Spring and a new 'hawk can grow. =) heh heh
The top-back keeps getting cut into when I'm so careful around it - it doesn't seem to matter how much effort I go to. It's like it's determined to go wrong atm. :| Ah, well...never mind. =)
