Mohawks Rock

Of all the ladies I've seen with mohawks I've yet to see one who has the nerve to pay homage to the native American tribe who first intoduce the mohawk. If you really want to do someting different how about some leggings and a loincloth maybe a breastplate, paint your face, put some feathers in your hair?

I'm Commanche and Chichameca. I've considered killing a buffalo to eat and make pipes out of. Bufalo grease can stand your hair up. I've been to pow wows, teepees, wigwams, sweatlodges and drumming circles. I almost never have any money so I have to live off the land, so to speak. UNIFICATION OF THE TRIBES
Just noticed you said that they were the first to introduce the mohawk, thanks to one of the members of this site, i have found out that they were originally from scotland.
Now i can say it's MY traditional hairstyle too!
Nope, sorry it wasn't white people. It was first noticed among the ancient Huron.
Don't get TOO much sand in your vagina, it's just obvious that's what you were gunning for.

The mohawk hairstyle is named for, and often associated with, the people of the Mohawk nation, an indigenous people of North America who originally inhabited the Mohawk Valley in upstate  New York

However, the hairstyle has been in existence in many different areas of the world, for thousands of years. For instance, the clonycavan man, a 2000-year-old male bog body discovered near Dublin, Ireland in 2003, was found to be wearing a mohawk styled with plant oil and pine resin sort of gel, and they have been known to "dye" the hair with plants too.

Artwork discovered at the Pazyryk burials dating back to 600 BC depicts  Scythian warriors sporting similar mohawks. The body of a warrior occupying one of the  Kurgins had been scalped earlier in life and wore a hair prosthesis in the form of a mohawk.

When going to war, 16th century Ukrainian cossacks would shave their heads, leaving a long central strip. This haircut was known as a khokhol and was often braided or tied in a topknot

The style has been around for centuries among many tribal cultures, not just the native americans.
