ShooGoo is an actual brand (not sure of spelling). It comes in a red tube bottle, I found it at a Red Wings store for about eight bucks. Second time I needed to goop my shoes back together I used some random shoe cemment I found at a Safeway next to cable tape. It came in a little white an blue bottle.

 

Both times I used glue was to glue on the soles of my boots. And they're still on. Good luck.

A lot cheaper then getting new boots, and a hella lot less painful then breaking them in.
