Superman and Batman

Ok we were having a little discussion over who is better, Batman and Superman. So I figured might as well make a discussion about it. Personnally I like them both equally. Both bring certain elements into comic books and literature that make them amazing characters. (but I have a feeling which way most people are going to go)

*IMPORTANT NOTE* We are not talking about who (whom?) could beat up who (whom?) here. We are talking about which one you prefer and why.
