I'm under the impression that Limewire is no more.
=(
damn it. piracy stops global warming!
anyway...I'm too flakey with my music selections to wait for a download and then load that onto my player. I've been exploring internet radio a lot lately.
I am currently arguing with Pandora to understand that DAMN IT I DO NOT LIKE THE GOO GOO DOLLS WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!!?!?
I'm also pretty disappointed with Pandora's lack of depth in a lot of sub genres.
oh..I don't listen to one particular type of music all the time. I like pretty much anything except post 1982 top country and jazz, and I'm so extremely picky about wtf ever "electronica" is that I might as well list it as a not like...
One person keeps telling me I'll love slacker and another says I have to check out lastfm
yet neither of these people are quite the musicphile I am. both listen to much more narrow genre classifications than I do. I'll take listening to music, watching music videos, watching music documentries, live shows, etc etc etc over most movie or tv watching experiences, and both of them feel opposite of me on that. I don't want to have to go set up accounts in a zillion different places to find what i want from an internet radio...
i want to be able to 'create my own station'.
i want deep tracks from a myriad of sub genres. hell, i want sub genres.
i want a reasonable useable free account i don't have to provide $ info to start. if i find what i want, i'm open to upgrading to paid for a reasonable fee.
i do not want any goo goo dolls. aewfjaomxjawe!!!!!aowfcaowfoiiowpripwitmgc,;!!!
i want suggestions for music i might like based on what i do like
i want to be able to 'ban' anything i really really really hate (pacabel's cannon and walking on sunshine)
any of you lovely people have any recommendations on good internet radio sites, or if buying into rhaposdy is where i'm ultimately headed????
