Mohawks Rock

Well I got my hands on a cheap leather jacket from the city. The only problem is that it is a bit bigger than I would like it to be. Does anyone know a way to shrink a leather jacket in the wash or something like that?

The only way I know of is to take it in by going to someone who knows their way around a heavy duty sewing machine. I have also heard that freezing a jacket in the freezer can take it down a half size but is hell for the leather.

Take hot steamy showers with the jacket hanging in the bathroom. Or put it in a pillow case and throw it in the dryer.

Theres no real way to shrink leather outside of going to a pro to hem it up, bear in mind it's the hide of a beast, it's meant to take punishment.

If it's a biker style leather jacket your stuck with the size, the way they fit is very specific (usually short waisted so you dont sit on it when on a motorcycle and long armed so it cover yours arms when reaching out for the handlebars), a seamstress might cause it to fit weird. There's also zippers on the end of the sleeves that keeps the jacket from devouring your hands that would have to be removed and sewn shut, which'll make it difficult to put on (unless you have small hands).

You can still try the dryer/shower method, it wont make it bigger
