Punk is dead?

Does anyone have an actual punk scene around them/their area? I live in Buckinghamshire, England, I have friends all over the country and all of them are either solitary punks just hanging around or small clusters (like 4/5ish) of drunk punx/ chaos punx, which I am not into at all.

I ask 'cause I'm sick of my area and everything about it and I want to be among people I can relate to, y'know; where I can live how I want, where I can form a band and live not as a freak in town of corporate slaves but among people who don't just roll their eyes when I explain my view, I want a punk scene.

What. The. Hell. Happened?

Rural south here, I'm apparently a satanist and no one knows any bands more extreme than green day, I'm no punk major myself but apparently Alabama has a pretty rad hardcore seen that migrates within 3-4 hours of where I live every now and then. So if you want someplace tolerant steer clear of TN.

Cool side note I got fired for rockin my hawk (in a pony-tail, under a hat)
