Mohawks Rock

well, the past week or 2 i have been thinking about getting a thicker hawk. i was thinking about shaving it but i shivered, i like it way too much to shave it off and start all over.

so i was thinking about making a mark for a bout .5 inch on each side of my Mohawk with tape next time i shave the sides(ill get my barber to do it) and go from there, and keep on doing that same thing, it sounds like it will work, cuz once long enough i wont need the tape anymore, but for some reason i have a feeling it wont work at all.

im mainly looking for people who have tried things like this possibly?
any other ideas for thickening it out without shaving it?

also, if it does work i was thinking about doing it for a trihawk.

any input would be appreciated haha.

you could do that.

thats what we (mr. khaos and I) do when we realize we shave a chunk of it out... start back over in that section and keep parting it out so we don't shave it.. It works!

also am doing that for the fin that we randomly decided he needed. doesn't look weird growing in, really (after a certain non stubbly having a mind of its own point)
ya i was thinking, after about an inch or 2, it just starts to kinda go in, im defiantly gonna try it, ill throw my barber the idea next time i go.
Yeah... sometimes it helps to let the sides come in a lot more than normal before cutting it, too. Dunno about your hair, but mine comes in fast
ya im at about 1.5 inches right now, it holds fine, but i can see in the furtue it be a bitch, also i get SO many gaps haha.
you can easily add width.. just do like you said and let it grow out from there.. ive done it several times and ive fixed my boyfriends hawk (his friend really fucked it up before he got to me) by doing it.

the only downside is that it looks super tacky for awhile, specially while its down :P but it does indeed work!
