Plaid Pants.

Hokay, so a few years ago I bought some plaid girl pants. I got them 'cuz they were plaid and purple-ish and they fit.
Now I wanna go diy on these muthas. They have no back pockets so does anyone know a good way of... I dunno, puttin' some in?
Any other advice or ideas are greatly welcomed, thanks.
Oh! I may add pictures to further fuel this when I can get good ones.

okay, wait:
fancy or flat?
have you ever sewn in your life? (if not, do you know what a needle and thread is? :P)
if so, are you using machine or hand stitch?
same type of fabric or different?
are you puting any designs on these pockets?

Ah wow, hehe. I don't know anything really about sewing. I DO however know what needle and thread is ;D.
I don't know what you mean by fancy or flat.
I'm not sure how I'm gonna do this, I haven't put much planning into so far, I just thought about them and figured I ask around before I go doing anything with 'em. I think I pretty much get pockets though, that short explanation just about did it for me, thanks.
But yeah, any other ideas on what to do with 'em would be nice.
