Okay so besides got2be freeze spray whats good for keeping really long hair up?

I know we have a lot of these but I'm starting a new one (sorry). I usually use got2be freeze spray and it works well until my hair gets past 4 inches and then it just doesn't work nearly as well. I want to grow my hair out to a foot long and I know my current hairspray won't work for that. Anyone with really long hair, what do you use? Try to at least give me a brand name, preferably a exact name or a link.

I've been looking at knox gelatin. So I think I'm gonna try that.

got2b and my trusty blow dryer is all i need. i put up my friend's 28 inch hair with those the other day. sometimes i use a straightener on the ends (one of those wet 2 straight ones)
Any cheep brand you can get is really good....but just if you get that stuff make sure it's the extra firm hold then its cheep and strong
I use got2b freeze spray as well and my hawk is a good seven inches or more and i live in Florida so when i go outside its like jumping into a pool ...lol jk but it stays up...for the most part...all i recommend is don't be afraid of overdoing it with hairspray you can never have to much
I know got2be should work well, but maybe my hairs to thin or thick and it just doesn't work the way it should. Anyway I'm gonna try knox and rave.
Other than got2be I use spiker (by ice) and rave.
Spiker sometimes clumps my hair in the back D: and I have a harder time with Rave hairspray just to get it to stand up. Its great for touch ups though. =]
Okay I tried the knox, works great. Might make it more concentrated though next time. I did a fan and it worked, I didn't even really have to do sections.
the times i've had nothing around the house but wood glue, knox, and egg whites. i experimented with all separately and found that wood glue is great for liberty spikes but is extremely difficult to remove from hair, but can be done w/ a shit load of conditioner and a brush in the shower. i then moved on to Knox's which is great but tedious to work with, i might suggest wearing rubber gloves or something, plus after a few it starts to flake. although compared to egg whites, its a better way to go. egg whites flake almost immediately and only hold for a couple hours, plus is smells horrible and feels pretty gross applying it. recent experiments for me that have worked great so far are a hair teasing comb, extra strength aquanet, and blow dryer. does not fail, im sure u can use any extra strength hair spray.
aussie instant freezing spray is the shit!

the only thing i use.
I would say suave hairspray works best for me. Its cheap. It can keep my hair up for a few days if i fix it up a little in the morning. My hair is well over a foot now, so it will probably work for you.
I've kept my hair up for 4 days in rainy weather so far. And its not even getting messed up. The gelatin is working great, although some people get fairly grossed out when they find out thats what I use.
Yeah! That's why i used to use it over the hairspray, we had a longish rainy period here, and it's magnificent! I'm glad to hear your hair is doing good
i used the combination of:

special hair teasing comb

+
a shit load of Aquanet extra strength

at the root and all over. +

blow dryers are blow dryers, i used the high heat setting & med. setting for blow/wind strength.

its been up for three days now w/o touch ups and sleeping on it.. so it works for me. plus, all these items, if u dont have them already, are easily lifted... or bought, however u go about things, hah. :]
