Need Help With My Mohawk!!!

Sup ? I was wondering right now I have a pretty wide mohawk (I'll post a new pic) and I was wondering how wide should my mohawk be if Im going for the liberty spike mohawk? Right now Its just a fan mohawk cuz its short but I am growing it. Even if I dont do the liberty spike mohawk I want to do a really long one I'll post 3 pics on here

Wide as you want.
A mistake a lot of people make is getting a really thin one for spikes, its the length you want them to be that makes the difference, the higher, the wider. simple as that.

I have mine pretty wide ish, I just got it fixed up but I have it wide so it looks like I have more hair then I do when it's down. But do it as wide as you like! I've never done spikes so really I'm posting a redundant comment repeating what Segagoway has said ;D
