Yup same here thats why I trimmed mine so when its down it doesn't look like a mullet.

the day workers around here seem to have mullets, and faux hawks as well

When my 'hawk is down, it looks like a mullet.
So on those days, I just wear my beanie and never take it off, even if it happens to be a summer day that's over 90* outside.
I'd rather be hot and sweaty, than have a mullet.
