Long Island Musicians

I'm 15 and I play guitar and sing.My inspiration is Green Day, they are my favorite band. I'm looking desperately to start a band. I enjoy other punk band as well, but the range of my music taste is all over the place. My 4 favorite bands are Green Day,Nirvana, Blood on the Dance Floor, and System of a Down. I only play rhythm guitar though, mostly power cords, considering I know many Green Day covers).
