Liver
hey not only am I on meds which are hard on your liver but I used to drink like a pirate from about the age of 21 to 28 so I'm looking up foods and what not to make your liver stronger. For example I remember a night drinking 6 forties of Steel Reserve, plus whiskey shots & beer. Want to help the ole liver out. It regenerates and heals even when you damn near kill it, but it takes a while. Anybody got any tips for staying off a colostomy bag for another 20 years or so?

From the age of 21 to about 24 I used to drink a 40 at breakfast time plus a fifth of Hennessy...then smoke a blunt and drink another 40 at lunch. then when I got home another 5th of Hennessy (& a forty if I could afford it) or just a shot of vodka...plus whatever beer friends would bring over, & I had em over 4 or 5 nights a week. We had kegs in my place once a week usually too. That went on for about 3 years. Ate about 1 meal a day and drank at shows extra, on top of this...which was my regular 365 days a year schedule.
After those years I took about a year off from drinking. Then I started back up & I would drink 1 or 2 forties of Steel Reserve a night, maybe a six pack, plus all the free beer folks give you at shows, plus whatever whisky shots, Night Train or Tequila I was offered.
During about 4 of those years when I wasn't on the first 3 year binge I was on Klonipin and Lamictal too & those also hit the liver pretty hard. So now I'm trying to make sure I can keep on partying for another 10 years or whatever. -
