Mohawks Rock

Literally been looking for a leather jacket for nearly a year :[

I've been looking on ebay & various charity shops. I once found one and went out and forgot to bid but besides that it's proving really bloody difficult!
I'm about a uk8/10 (with jumper underneath) and all the jackets are too big wherever I look. I've been really looking forward to revamping an old jacket and adding to it or just starting completely on an old one but size wise I can't seem to find anything :/
Any suggestions other than eating loads of burger or something? xD

You can buy one that's a little big and alter it, or if you don't know how and your willing to shell out a little extra money you can pay to have it taken in. Second hand shops are always some of the best places to look. I got my vegan leather at a store called buckle for $60 brand new. A little pricey but if I can avoid not wearing an animal for no particular reason I'll take it. Scour the Internet, google is your friend! That's how I found mine :)
Internet.
and by that i mean other places than just ebay.... just noticed that you said that you already looked there haha.
Dont worry about that post a profile picture lol
I didn't find a leather jacket for three years. I refused to buy new, or get one that didn't fit me right.

One day, I found one in a vintage used store a province away in Winnipeg. It fit ace and suited me.

Things just take time.
same thing with my boots! Found a pair of all leather combat boots for 18 bucks at a resale shop. they were almost new and were just my size. I had to buy them.

I had three leather jackets in my life. It's worth buying a new one that is made to FIT you. Other times I settled for larger/second hand jackets.

Nice part about buying a new leather jacket, is when you break it in, it molds to your body. Not sombody elses. You would probably refrain from decorating it (if that's what you're into) cos you just dumped at least $400. bux for it.

The jacket I have is a 'Schott'. made in USA, so they cost a bit more. but, heres one outfit over at your end you can look into. http://www.noble-house.eu/catalog/index.php/cPath/33?osCsid=pm94u2e...

I guess I'll just carry on looking :) Thanks guys. punkmonkey i finally put a profile picture up after being on here for quite a while, thanks for reminding me xDD
Thrift store!

You can iron leather, so long as it's only steam touching the surface. Not the iron part :/
Just be sure there's no parasites. Unless you like that kind of stuff.

Good luck!
you don't know what I'm into

Do you have anything like flea markets where you live? I got one there for $50 and have had it 8 years.

Price shouldn't be a concern, leather lasts forever so your gonna make your money back technically. My dad has a leather jacket he got when he was 17, he's 60 and still wears it!

lol some guy is selling a "DIY punk leather jacket" on ebay? only 300$
