Mohawks Rock

I cut my mohawk from 5 inches down to 3.5 so it would be easier for me to put up in the mornings. That was an EPIC fail. Now, it's harder to get up. Does anyone have any advice for putting up short-hawks???

I just use hair glue on mine rather than spray. mine is about 3 maybe a little more. But yea, just glue and a blowdryer
thats sucks hardcore.

fuck mines like 7 or 8 inches now and its easier to put up then when it was 4 or 5

got 2 b glue and a blowdryer is what i used.
hairspray just didnt hold it as well.
Wow. Hmm, never thought about shorter hawks maybe being more difficult than longer hawks in some cases. Sorry this happened, but hopefully you will get some good advice and others will get to learn from this.
I use tresseme and then use a hair straightener actually. Do it in sections. I start from the back. Spray, hold it up, straighten until it stops sizzling and then keep going. You can then comb it to make the fan look better and redo the whole technique again. I find it stays up better than hair dryer.
Mmm...all I did was lots of hair-spray, blow-dry. Leave it for an hour and then brush it through and repeat with the hair-spray and blow-dry until I got it as near perfect as I can.
use a thick gel, bed heads mohawk glue is good..or elmers glue if your on a budget. work it into your hair and just pull it up between your hands slowly..it should stand.. it will look crunchy though, if you dont like that then do it the night before and gently comb it out in the morning..top it off with some hairspray and you should be good to go..
Got2b Glued styling glue, mixed with a little wella shockwaves styling steel gel. If you want to keep it that short, get it cut narrower. If you want to grow it longer again, it'll get easier over time.
