I'd like opinions. =]

I been shaving the sides of my head for about 2 weeks (maybe a little less) and I left the little strands of hair in front of my ears that give the girly side burn look.

Ive gotten mixed reviews on it- Some people think it looks spiffy and others think it looks silly.

They make me feel more feminine and I'll probablly keep them anyway, but I was curious as to what you guys thought.

I've done that too...
My hair is thick, so if I have a full chelsea hawk going on, my bangs get weird and all that. So now and again, I shave all but that spot out and it still adds length to the front, but is girly too. Some guys don't get it, but I find it more...connecting? It almost draws the mohawk into you, as opposed to it looking like it was just placed their.

Especially if you dye your hair and do something with it.

Yeah! Mine matched the under color in my bangs or the top fringe of my hawk a lot.

I used to have a really cool color to color fade, too. Orange to pink, green to blue, blue to green, haha. It's all fun.

I am not exactly a guy, but I reckon it isnt bad - if it makes you feel more feminine go for it! I know what you mean about the whole, not really wanting just the plain mohawk - it does tend to give one a masculine appearance :(

Personally, I'd grow more than the little sideburns, as they look wispy to me?
But they don't exactly bother me :P

I love the fem-hawk look on girls. I like mo-hawks on girls as well, but the fem-hawk adds to the degree of feminity. Which sometimes is needed to pull off a look like this for girls. I think it looks great. Stick with it.
