Mohawks Rock

I want to cut myhair into a mohawk and I have to do it myself.HELP!!!

I want it trimmed on the sides not cut and not that long how would I do it correctly.I have shoulder length hair it naturally curly.

There are so many of these fucking "omg how do I get my hair to do what your hair does?" discussions I'm sure you'll find at least 1!

So please, do a little homework. I'm POSITIVE you will find every answer you could ever dream for and a bunch of other things you didn't have a clue about.
