Mohawks Rock

I really want my mohawk again but my hair is not long enough to even get a small hawk. I have a faux hawk right now and hate it. The front is to my eyebrows and the back is 4 inches. How do I get it to grow faster so I can get one in the summer. What do u do or use

lots of protein....encourage cell production in your body. Hair cells are pretty much the remaining protein, and chitin from the roots. I can't guarantee anything, it's up to your body's metabolism. I would also massage my scalp with my head down for a minute or so after getting out of the shower everyday...like bend over and just run your fingertips around your head man...gets the blood moving around underneath the skin. Try not to burn it out by washing it too often...you can do that. I shampoo my hair every three days...I condition on top of that. Any other time...just a rinse and scrub, no shampoo. You don't want to strip the natural oils from your scalp...it will burn out your roots fast...but keep the shit clean at least dude.

You cant make hair grow faster, but you can help it appear to grow faster by taking care of it to ensure the ends dont break off.

  • Garnier makes a shampoo/conditioner for "hard to grow hair," if you cant find that they also have "triple nutrition" shampoo/conditioner that I've been using, and quite a few members of mohawksrock can vouch for me that my hawk grew back quick!
  • CVS has "Hair skin and nail" vitamins for cheap, and sometimes buy 1 get 1 free if you have a cvs card. I've been taking em for a year, my only complaint is that they take about 4 months to get into your system, so take em now and don't stop!
  • Don't towel dry your hair, whipping it around in a towel breaks off the ends like a lawn mower running you over. Best thing to do is let it air dry or lightly blow dry it on low (and with a "cool air" mode if you have it)
  • As Dylan said, dont shampoo it every day. I would also advise only allowing your hair to get wet every other day, for some reason getting your hair wet is bad for it. If you don't like wearing shower caps then at least only use conditioner.

There is an over the counter vitamin called Biotin. It helps stimulate healthy hair, nails, and skin by helping you maintain a healthy metabolism.
