How about Palen dropping that news, eh?

So I guess she resigned as governor of Alaska. She wouldn't divulge any reasons other than she has gotten too much press criticizing her and that it would save Alaska money if she didn't have to spend money to defend herself. But, for some reason (being as paranoid as I am) I think there's something more to it. Has anyone heard anything else?
