HELP: My Mohawk Curls on the tip

Sup guys (gals),

I just started rocking the mohawk for about a few months now. Unfortunately, my hair grows slow and i'm only at about 3 inches.

Whenever I spike my hair up, the tips of my 'hawk starts curling back. I was expecting it to curl back as my hair got longer...but curling at 3 inches?

I don't know what to do!!! Any tips? (I have thin and straight hair) My hair is too short to use a hair straightener. I'm tired looking like I got curly fries on the top of my head.

I've been using FX surfhead to keep that dry look..but it just isn't working.

Thanks!! I've never experienced with got2b glued products..but do they get your hair shiny? I'm trying to go for the dry Jared Leto look. lol.

Use hairspray and then gently comb it out a little. It will still stand and will give it the fluffy look that he has as well. Since your hair is so short brand of hairspray isn't a big deal (my favorite is bed head hard head hairspray). Shorter hawks are more likely to curl in my expierence, specially if your using something like gel.

Hey all,

Thanks for the replies...I tried using got2b glued hairspray...but it isn't working!!! its starting to get frustrating and im contemplating if I should just trim it and rock a short 'hawk. My hair has been curling the past month or so.

Here's how my hair looks now...anybody have any more tips? Is the curling going to get less as my hair grows longer? Thanks in advance!

I think when it gets longer it will help. Try more hairspray and hold the tips straight up while you blow-dry it, don't let go until they are dry!. Hopefully that will help.
