Help me out. What makes a poser I'm new to punk.

I know you guys are like "oh this guys a poser look at him asking what punk is" Yea I have an idea of what it is but I'm new so just help me out. My question is what makes a poser? I glare at people from time to time but I just like to. I'm an asshole but i've always been like that. I just recently had to cut off the hawk because of school. I don't think I'm a poser but people always try to say I am or I try to hard because I'll throw an Anarchy A on my school bag or something. So tell me what makes a poser?

Which makes everyone a bit of a poser, I'm not saying everyone with a mohawk isn't not a bit of a poser. :P

I'm not even into punk anymore, lol. People just assume I am because of the hawk.

Punks don't always rock the hawk. There's alot of styles to punk, but the most important is to never forget DIY(Do It Yourself) Punk is a lifestyle in which attitude is very important. Punks just simply don't give a shit! Anyone who doesn't give a shit, is for fun, and doesn't want to look like all the rest is by definition Punk.

I didn't read the whole argument, but "You better check yourself before you wreck yourself." just sounds really funny to me. As being a last statement to an argument, it wouldn't be my first pick xD
