hair shaved like a mohawk, but not cut like one

Hey everyone

I love the look of mohawks, and am finally getting the courage up to get it, well sort of..

What i am hoping is possible, is to get the area of my head shaved kind of a cross between a mohawk, the stripes above ears, and one side shaved, so that i can mostly wear it down with my hair layers covered it, but have the option to have it across one side or a deathhawk (im not the punk sort ;p)

Also i dont want my hair cut to the mohawk like uniform length across the fan, just leaving the layers as is.

Does anyone have their head shaved like this? What area of the head is shaved to achieve this?

You mean you want one side shaved so that when it's down you can't tell it is?

both sides :) so if i could if i wanted put it up as a deathhawk, but mostly it would be down. And hopefullyy not tell its shaved by keeping the rest of my hair the same except the shaved pieces. But im not sure if it would work

If your hair's long enough you could go full out on the sides, part your hair in the center and it won't look like a mohawk at all, if that's what you're asking.
