Mohawks Rock

I have been talking to a few of you on here about the strength of the Got2BGlued Freeze Hair Spray. It seems that at least in the U.S. several of us are noticing that since about the time they released the newish can (with gray strip on top) the formula has changed. It doesn't seem to have the same holding power.

I have emailed Got2B about this as well, but am curious if this has been noticed by others as well, and if its not just in the United States.

Hopefully, if they have swapped the formula to a weaker version, they will still consider rebottling up the old formula into a new product, so that we can still have that great hold.

What has been your Got2B experience over the past few months?

got2b dude says it didnt change.........
got2b dude has not come back to the site. Think maybe he was just trying to promote the facebook thing while outright denying the change. He didn't respond to my emails, just the same as they send out generic mail to well thought out inquiries.

We need to find the hairspray scientist geeks for got2b not the (if we can't impact 1 million users it doesnt matter) marketing department.

Maybe I'm just jilted, and looking for a company that cares after a weeklong training in SEO, SEM, CPC and how to treat online users with respect for their time, not your own.
I have an old bottle here...if you think it will help you haha.

BUT! I also have a theory that people are using it on different lengths of hair than they did before. It will seem different the more hair you have.

They should use US as market testing subjects for any products and changes. If it can hold a hawk.. haha
Giant Mohawk Man,
didnt mean to leave you hanging here. The formula of freezespray definitely didn't change -we only the changed the bottle.
I triple-checked with the chemists - it's still perfect for mohawks of any height, as it always was.

So, you're right, I can only offer marketing opinions, but working with our chemists guys every day in the lab, I can only assure you that the stuff still works. Dont let a marketing dude mislead you - a packaging change doesnt mean a formula change.

But if you have any suggestion how to improve the hair spray or the glue, let me know.

your facebook promoting marketing guy who left you hanging
Nice sign off.

Good to know you triple checked with the chemists. I ran across some glue in Holland by schwarzkopf called Junior I think. My favorite part of the marketing on that glue was "Wind-Tunnel Tested". Now thats strong. Of course, I bought some, but then got it confiscated on my way to Barcelona, since I absent-mindedly left it in my carry-on.

I didn't get a chance to test it, but if they ever video-taped (or better yet took volunteers) for this "wind-tunnel testing", I'm sure you could find volunteers here and plenty of people that would like to watch such a feat on video.
Giant Mohawk Man,

glad to hear you're offering your services. Regarding the video footage: have you guys seen this guy showing how make a liberty spike mohawk:

Our UK colleagues acquired his services and are filming some mohawk stuff with him.

We're currently looking at creating products especially for mohawks. Any suggestions? Anything you guys are missing out of our current stuff? Would love to hear from you!

Before I switched, I used to notice how the glue would clog the spray nozzle... which was lame and if you're half way through doing your hair and put the bottle down is obnoxious.

What about a lighter weight product? Or a more friendly scent? haha
Ja, I too noticed this, I was a bit pissed off when used it the first time from my previous wax that I used because I heard it was great, but all 'n all...I might need a nother set of arms heh!
hmmm, for some reason, it's not letting me get to that coupon that the got2b guy posted on here...... is it expired now or something?
no, it's defnitely still good. I used it the other day to get some flat ironing stuff. :-)

if this link doesn't work, find the facebook page
got2b has been working well for my spikeys. i also use Vavoom freezing spay, leaves the hair still maliable, better to spray then style then spray. the g2b i use to lift spray lift for the spikeys. but right now i'm using Big Sexy Hair freezing spray, its so far really good for the hawk, just spray a bit away from the hair, hold it in position and gently blow to dry and Freeze the position. then repeat from other sides, and etc. seems to do great so far!
glad to know the g2b guy replyed.

I have noticed that if i use a product for a long time that it seems to work less well.Like as if my hair were trying to defy it, or become immune to it. So i just vary it. I'll use 1 product for a while, and then for the next like month i'll use something else. or even just switch it every other day, or so.

Hope this helps all those who r loosing holding or freezing power. the 3 main product lines i use are got2b, vavoom, and most recently big sexy hair. they're all really great, but it all depends are hair type, thickness, and the procedure used to style. i find the less procuct and the dryer u keep it the better the style. like spray it, and blow it to dry it in place, then spray it and blow it gently agian. this way the hair never gets all wet or heavy and fall down mid style. which i must say absolutely blows. in the case of hair, less seems to be more
