Mohawks Rock

Hey so my hair is 14 inches long now and it doesnt seem to want to stay up with my got2be glued freeze spray. I was wondering whether Elmer's glue would work better and how I would apply that. I also have some hair gel called Gorilla Snot thats suppose to be used for mohawks.

Try back combing it a bit. And yeah, glue works. It's a bitch to wash out though. Try wood glue for a week long hawk!

Oooh! Might have to try that wood glue idea! Thanks! :D

Just be careful. I've seen people break their hair. SNAP! Right at the the root.

i used to use elmers glue the blue gel one for the base of the hawk and then i would spray got2b glues freeze spray n put the blower on high  heat and  wait tip it dries then one the base is real hard then work your way up with the spray on the rest of the hawk don't use the elmers glue on the upper part of the hawk cos that will weight it down unless your coin liberty spikes

I would advise against glues or gels on a hawk as long as yours..particularly if you are fanning it. Gels and glues are heavy and will weigh your hair down. Strong flexible hold hairsprays are usually your best bet. I am quite fond of bed head hard head hairspray.

+1

Another thing is to get the dead ends trimmed off. Not to make it shorter, just get the last 1 or 2 inches off. This will also help it grow even longer!

Dead ends tend to split a hawk up and reduce its structural support, like standing a square block up vs. a rectangle
