Bogus blind guy!

So me and my friend are sort of walking the streets, and his mohawk is WAY bigger than mine, a good 10 inches. So we see this blind guy like crashing into shit, my buddy's a good guy and decides to help him. So we walk, talk, and were like a block from where he needs to be, when he's all "Can I feel your face?" (he wants to know what we look like). So my friend lets him do it first, and he feels the mohawk, and goes "What the fuck?! You want my money or some shit, or you trying to find a good house to break into? Get the fuck outta here, you punk motherfucker!!". And we both are like pissed cause we went about a mile out of our way to help this guy and he ends up screaming at us. I mean, shit.

People let their imaginations and prejudices run wild when they discover the unexpected, I guess. It's sad, but often true - still, your intentions were good and he was misguided by stereotyping you wrongly.

I guess he might get folk winding him up at times by pretending to be helpful and then leading him wrong, so that might excuse it. But he should've been able to judge you on your characters after talking with you for that while before he felt the mohawk. Too many judgemental folk out there, but the only way to build a better way is to act the better way - like you and your friend did.

It's very dispiriting though when you only intend to be helpful. :(
