Best Red Dye

Currently I'm in the process of stripping the green out of my hair, and I decided to go red. I want the red to be bright, but not look too orangish (if that's a word). The two color's that I'm looking into are Manic Panic's rock 'n' roll red, and Special Effect's nuclear red.

So if anyone can suggest the best red dye to use to obtain that color, any help would be appreciated. I should also mention that my hair is a very light blond, from all the bleaching, after all the green is out.

I've had really good success with that Special Effects Nuclear red. heres a few pics

Sorry for posting a bunch of pics, but I think all these really demonstrate how the color looks when its fresh and when it fades. These pics are all from Special Effects Nuclear Red. Currently I have Manic Panic Pillarbox red. I should be putting it in my hair by about next tuesday

i had bleach blonde hair when i used manic panic pillarbox red and in about a week it faded to hot pink and stayed that way for about a month. ha.

I'm liking the nuclear red. I think I might try that first. I will definately post pics next weekend when I'm done. My only concern is that my blonde is not all even, some platinum and some a little more yellow. I hope the dye goes in even. I want one solid color, no dark patches.

yo man i died my fuckin mohawk with special effect the shit was fuckin perfect. You gotta trust me it faded nicely none of that bull shit orange shit (just dont get napalm orange by mistake ) manic panic fades much faster

as an alternative to manic panic (which, for some reason, fades too quickly for me) i use adore (creative image). for something close to the color in the photo you linked, i'd suggest adore's intense red. you might want to add a couple of (short) squirts of raspberry twist.
