I was just wondering if anyone was more into ska punk than punk rock. Like besides operation ivy there's catch 22, big d and the kids table, aquabats, etc etc. Does anyone like ska punk?
"operation ivy there's catch 22, big d and the kids table, aquabats, etc etc. Does anyone like ska punk?" OP IVY, and The Aquabats are not ska punk. OP IVY had like 2 songs with horns in it, walking bass lines or not, just aint ska, and the fucking aquabats got together to make fun of the upstart ska and punk scene in california in the early nighties. They never claimed to be a ska band. Forget ska"punk" why not try listening to some REAL ska? i mean shit, we were all in middle school once, but come on...
I almost posted something sarcastic about being a dick for no reason other than to stroke my own and wish it were bigger.
But then I lost interest. Because it's only the internet.
Alright thats just my opinion. I don't really know what to call that kind of stuff but the sound is just what i like. Maybe i considered them ska and they aren't but whatever you want to call them i just like the sounds of them. I haven't really discovered "real ska" and if yuo could break it to me what real ska is
